GLO at Dianne Feinstein coordinates the after school enrichment classes that are provided through community partnerships with Inspire Music, Academic Chess, Mad Science, Playtime Gymnastics, Evolution Soccer, Allez Tennis, Lango Language Programs and Painting and Drawing with Crystal Herman. GLO at Dianne Feinstein also coordinates the after school Mandarin Language Program which takes place from Monday through Thursday for an hour.

Youth have the opportunity to choose the kind of enrichment activity that they would like to participate in each day. Choices of activities include: art, science, health, literacy, outdoor recreation, sports, cooking and much more!
ACADEMIC SUPPORT:Through structured homework assistance, communication and partnership with the school-day teachers, GLO is able to support your child’s learning in a positive way.
KIDS CLUBS: An exciting part of GLO’s curriculum, Kids Clubs provide the opportunity for the youth to learn more in-depth about a certain subject. Children learn about different cultures, cooking and nutrition, environment, science, music, just to name a few.
GLO ACADEMY: Provides a safe environment where 4th and 5th graders can build the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate through their lives and communities on the path to being a successful adult.
Program Philosophy
GLO at Dianne Feinstein is a Youth Development After School Program with structured activities that have specific goals and outcomes such as: creating a safe environment, promoting supportive relationship building, encouraging meaningful youth involvement and participation, building a sense of belonging through community involvement, and increasing children’s skills in diverse areas.

GLO Academy is an exciting new project uniquely designed for GLO 4th & 5th Graders. The GLO Academy experience is inspired by the personal growth and curiosity attached to this stage in life, in order to draw out the very best in each of our children. GLO Academy is delivered in two main components: The Leadership Circle and Enrichment Majors.
