Our Partners
GLO makes partnership a priority at every level.
GLO's partnerships include the Department of Children, Youth and their Families and the City of San Francisco/ Office of the Mayor, the SFUSD and the private sector. In 2005, MOCD -Mayor's Office of Community Development- and GLO launch a pilot program to join the public and the private after school programs at Fairmount Elementary School. Today, with the support of DCYF GLO succesfully leads the after school enrichment program for all children in Fairmount Elementary. The new program strives to ensure the highest quality available to students and also offers full scholarships to 60% of the students.
Equally essential to the balanced development of each child is the relationship established with the SFUSD regular day staff at each site. The GLO staff and the regular school Teachers and administrators keep themselves current as of each child's develpments.
In addition, GLO collaborates with private community partners to provide diverse and meaningful activities and experiences for our students.
