GLO Summer Adventures

Welcome to GSA!

What’s new for 2017?

We are taking GSA 2017 to the “Tech Extreme” this summer. We are taking a deep dive into all things technology by bringing in Code Fu while infusing our own curriculum and enrichment classes. We are also keeping some of the traditional camp programming that the children love but we will connect it back to the world of technology. This summer GSA will be at two locations, Cleveland Elementary in the Excelsior and Dianne Feinstein Elementary in the Sunset.

Code Fu is a school day and after school enrichment and consulting program designed by teachers and software engineers to provide students in K – 8th with the option to learn Computer Science in the safety and comfort of their schools. We are excited to be working with them this summer.

Our amazing site coordinators and teachers will be leading the way with daily enrichment activities that include art, STEAM, sports, outdoor activities, and language and culture. Children will be able to chose an activity from one of these morning enrichment blocks. They will have a second opportunity to choose a daily activity in the afternoon during Studio choice time. Our Studio choices include: Art Studio, Builder’s Studio, Animation Studio, Outdoor Studio and Teacher’s Choice. Our leadership staff have been hard at work making awesome classes for your students.  Whether you have a junior artist, athlete, or scientist, your students will be able to pick a fun class for the day that fits their interests.
