Simon Lee
Executive Director
Simon has been working at GLO, a non-profit direct service after-school organization in San Francisco, since 1990 as a line staff person and Site Director. Simon has a Master's in Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from San Francisco State University, and now teaches part-time at City College of San Francisco and SF State University. Simon was CalSAC's Leadership Fellow for the Trainer network and is past recipient of San Francisco's Week of the Young Child Provider of the Year award. In his spare time, he likes to listen to his ipod, run, and play basketball.
Jennifer Tam
Accountant
Jennifer was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. She went to Lowell High School in the city before she attended the University of California, Los Angeles where she studied Business Economics and Accounting. She has been with GLO since April 2008 and is greatly enjoying her experiences with the organization. Jennifer has been to Europe and Asia and is looking forward to her next abroad trip to Dubai, UAE. 
Trang Tran
Human Resources Generalist
Trang is one of our very few employees who lives across the bridge in a little, almost unheard of town called Hercules. She attended the University of California, Davis and started working for GLO as the Assistant Director for GLO@Hoover after graduating in 2006. In her free time, she reads sappy romance novels, enjoys baking, shops nonstop, and loves to take mini vacations. 
Maria Arias
Project Manager
Maria (Maisa) was born in Lima,Perú. Maisa graduated from Universidad San Martin de Porres with a BA in Social Communication and Journalism. She has been living in the Bay Area for 5 years now and has been a happy GLO employee for the past 4 and a half years. Maisa started as a Teacher’s Aide to then become a teacher before she took her current position. Maisa loves camping, hiking, biking, reading and traveling, and teasing her boss (when she is not hooked to a computer)!
Sherene Hung
Accounts Receivable
Sherene is a native San Franciscan, Mom of two beautiful girls, Kaitlyn (3) and Madelyn (4 months) and has worked in the private school sector for the past ten years joining GLO in August 2008. Studied Interior Design at San francisco State University, loves to read, watch foreign movies, spending sunny days outdoors with the family, and loves to work on any and all paper crafting projects. Loves to travel but probably won’t visit too many places until after the kids have gone off to college.
